Your role

We are looking for a Senior TIBCO Developer based in our Boadilla office, a key team in our technology ecosystem.

This area is responsible for FX product coverage, as part of Santander Corporate and Investment Bank. This position will be involved with Post trading and Risk Management applications but having connections with FX ecosystems, where there are applications specialist for Low Latency Distribution/Negotiation/Hedging, Order Management systems, Single Bank Platforms and others.

‍Your main tasks will be:

• Lead technical analysis for new business processes for TIBCO interfaces around new requirements definition, supporting Tech Lead in the designs.
• High capacity for information gathering and consistent documentation methodologies.
• Building of automated deployments of applications and system configurations. 
• Must have the ability to research, analyse and development new integration solutions, apart from maintaining and enhancing current ones.
• Support Tech Lead and Product Owner to define and execute technology roadmaps for their products.
• The candidate will be expected to hit the ground running and help with mentoring junior members of the team, leading by example though promotion of coding, creating clean and easy maintainable code and testing best practices.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, these are the key skills we’ll be looking for in your CV:

• +5 years of experience with Business Works, with experience with BW 5.X and Container Edition.
• Solid experience working with messaging protocols (JMS, MQ, REST,..).
• Extensive knowledge of message formats (XML, JSON, FIX,….).
• Experience with API development (REST), API Connect
• Clean code and solid design skills
• Good knowledge in Automated testing
• Extensive Knowledge of Docker, Git, GitHub, Openshift and MicroServices Architecture.
• Good knowledge in Automated testing
• Great communication skills, being able to transmit clearly the main points of an issue and to transmit internally inn the team and with other stakeholders 
• Exceptional work ethic, critical thinking skills & attention to detail.
• Innovative thinking and attitude to challenge status quo.
• Enthusiasm for solving problems, digging into issues and owning solutions to completion.
• Languages (at least): English B1, Spanish B1.

The following would also be great...

• Background working at Tier 1 bank/hedge fund/financial companies
• Experience with Agile Methodologies.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript and Spring boot framework.
• Experience with PLSLQ or other Distributed Databases.
• Experience with tools like Kafta, ElasticSearch or Hazelcast.
