The Marketing Strategy Specialist plays a key role in shaping and delivering Canon's consumer marketing strategy across Europe for designated customer segments and product portfolios within the Print and Photo categories. As the strategic lead for their portfolio, they translate market, customer and commercial insights into data-driven marketing strategies that support business growth and strengthen Canon's market position.
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across Europe, the role leads the development of integrated marketing plans, product launch strategies and lifecycle campaigns, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. With end-to-end ownership of strategic marketing planning and execution, the Marketing Strategy Specialist drives measurable commercial outcomes, champions marketing excellence and supports Canon's long-term growth and competitive advantage.
Responsibilities- Own the marketing strategy for your product portfolio (80% Print, 20% Photo), shaping the direction that drives commercial growth.
- Turn market trends, customer insights and performance data into clear, actionable marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Lead the planning and delivery of impactful product launches, campaigns and always-on marketing activity across the customer lifecycle.
- Work closely with Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams to align plans with business priorities and maximise commercial success.
- Inspire and influence cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver exceptional marketing execution.
- Monitor campaign and market performance, adapting strategies to respond to changing customer needs and market conditions.
- Build strong relationships with National Sales Organisations (NSOs), ensuring strategies are successfully deployed and local markets are set up for success.
- Act as the go-to expert for your product categories, providing strategic insight, innovation and thought leadership across the business.
- Champion best practice in marketing planning, briefing and measurement, ensuring every activity has clear objectives and delivers value.
- Stay ahead of industry, customer and technology trends, bringing fresh ideas that continuously improve marketing performance and capability.

- Must have a deep knowledge & experience of related to Customer Segments and products & services industry & technologies related, to be credible in the Marketing strategist role.
Proven Track Record: creating value propositions for multiple customer groups translating product features into benefit-centric application. Demonstrated success in delivering marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, preference, purchase intent, sales growth.

Salary up to £47,000 - 56,185 plus 10% bonus (dependant on experience)
