Join the Mizuho team as an ITAM Analyst!
In this role you will work closely with different IT infrastructure groups to capture and maintain their hardware asset data throughout assets' lifecycle. This includes providing help and support to various teams to facilitate procurement, onboarding, tracking and offboarding of hardware assets. . You will be responsible to maintain the asset data in Mizuho hardware asset management tool so that right decisions can be made at the right time.
You will also work collaboratively across the IT department to coordinate the upgrade or decommissioning of EoL/EoS hardware assets.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in IT hardware asset management space
- Experience with managing EoL/EoS of IT hardware assets on a timely and efficient manner
- Familiarity with IT hardware asset refresh processes including working with external vendors
- Sufficient understanding of hardware contracts with third party vendors
- Experience with the HAM module in ServiceNow
- Bachelor of science in Computer Science, MIS or related fields
Responsibilities
- Managing IT Hardware assets' lifecycle including procurement, onboarding, asset tracking and offboarding
- Monitoring of all IT Hardware assets that are reaching EoL/EoS and take proper actions based on internal processes
- Working with the IT Hardware asset owners proactivity to plan for refresh/upgrade of existing hardware nearing EoL/EoS
- Working with the vendors of the IT Hardware assets through our Sourcing team to make decisions on upgrading/refreshing all hardware assets
- Identifying active hardware models that are missing an EoL/EoS dates and identify proper dates for them
- The individual will also be involved in managing the completeness and accuracy of the hardware model data in ServiceNow
- Reporting on KRIs/KPIs related to EoL/EoS of hardware assets on a regular basis to ensure successful process implementation
The expected base salary ranges from $77k-$125k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
