Family Service Association is looking for a full time Technical Lead to join our IT team. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (35 hours per week). Some weekend and after-hours work will be necessary. The starting pay range is $31 - $35 per hour.
The IT Technical Supervisor provides coaching and mentoring for IT Staff and is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting all information technology, applications, and connectivity for all FSA locations. This is a hands-on position, and time will be split between system/network administration, staff coaching, and support escalations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of FSA’s infrastructure and manage the day-to-day operations of the environment. This includes Jira Service Manager, Kaseya365, Microsoft 365 and on prem infrastructure.
- Assist the Director of Information Technology in planning and execution of the overall vision and long-range strategy for the IT Department.
- Manage technology inventory (hardware and software) to include installation, configuration, record keeping and disposal.
- Lead and perform all aspects of system and network administration including the installation and configuration of network appliances and services, backup technologies, new applications, hardware, patch management, server and cloud technologies.
- Assist the IT Director with establishing and maintaining FSA’s Information System Security Policies and Procedures.
- Provide consultative support and services to the user community to ensure problem resolution, system and data access, and optimal system performance.
- Proactively work with end users to determine hardware and software needs.
- Review requests for computer needs and ensure that acquisitions and replacements are congruent with FSA’s endpoint strategy.
- Research and recommend acquisition of technology.
- Assist in the development of customer service and support policies and procedures, as well as feedback mechanisms to ensure the highest quality support.
- Assist with planning, prioritizing, assigning, and supervising, the work of IT and EHR staff.
- Assist the IT Director with the Backup, restore, Continuity of operations Plan (CoOP) and the overall DR strategy and planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, or graduate of accredited technical school preferred.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Experience in the IT field including network design, Windows Server technologies and cloud services.
- Microsoft 365 Administrative software experience including Entra, InTune, & Exchange.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs solo or 100 lbs with help.
- Must be able to climb stairs, work on ladders.
- Security Certification (Security+, CISSP, Etc.) strongly preferred
- Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
