- Build, configure, and install Linux-based systems for lab and data center deployment.
- Unbox, rack, stack, and cable equipment as needed.
- Install and configure Linux OS, create testbed files, and support regression test bed infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot failed tests, processes, and network/software/desktop environment issues.
- Apply knowledge of Linux, Windows, and scripting concepts (e.g., Shell, Python, Ansible, Perl) to resolve issues.
- Utilize virtual machines and containers (Docker) for efficient system management.
- Demonstrate knowledge of networking concepts and apply troubleshooting skills.
- Debug complex software and hardware issues, ensuring smooth system operation.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
- Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Position is 40-50 hours per week
- Normal work hours are 8am – 5pm with occasional hours needed beyond that timeframe in order to address minor/major issues that come up needing our attention
