This SAP Transportation Advisor position will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the SAP Transportation Module to support our logistics and transportation operations for OxyChem.  This role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and providing end-user support to ensure smooth and efficient transportation processes within the SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP Transportation Management (TM) issues, including error analysis, resolution, and user assistance.
• Work closely with OxyChem logistics, supply chain, and transportation teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP TM solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP TM functionalities to improve transportation processes and meet business needs.
• Perform testing as needed for SAP updates and patches.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP TM configuration and processes.
• Train and support end-users as needed.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external consultants on system enhancements, upgrades, and integration with other technologies and third-party applications.
• Coordinate and maintain all of OxyChem’s integrations with Bourque software used to track and report rail movements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related fields).

Direct experience with SAP and the Advanced Transportation Module in ECC or S/4.

Good people skills and customer service focus.

Good written and verbal communications skills.

Self-motivated and can work in a team environment with little supervision.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Ability to work overtime/weekends and be on call as required.
