Associate Platform Analyst

Location: San José, Costa Rica

Are you passionate about technology, automation, AI, and solving business problems? The Appsters team is looking for an Associate Platform Analyst to help support and grow the enterprise platforms that power innovation across our global organization.

As part of our platform engineering team, you will gain hands-on experience with leading technologies including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Quickbase, N8N, and ABBYY. You will work alongside experienced platform specialists and engineers while building valuable technical skills in automation, governance, AI, and enterprise application support.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Platform Analyst, you will support the administration and continuous improvement of our enterprise low-code and automation platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with managing platform environments, user access, permissions, connectors, and service accounts.

  • Support day-to-day platform operations and maintenance activities.

  • Monitor platform health and help identify and resolve issues.

  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, and access-related requests.

  • Assist with incident management and production support activities.

  • Participate in testing activities, upgrades, and platform releases.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support guides.

  • Partner with business users and technical teams to understand needs and provide support.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

  • Follow established governance, security, and compliance standards.

  • Continuously learn new technologies and contribute ideas for platform improvements.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

  • 0-2 years of experience in IT support, application support, systems administration, software development, or a related technical field.

  • Strong interest in technology, automation, AI, and digital transformation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, or similar business applications.

  • Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience.

  • Understanding of user access management and security concepts.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or automation tools.

  • Knowledge of generative AI and business automation solutions.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates are not required to hold certifications but the following are considered a plus:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)

  • Other entry-level certifications related to cloud, automation, or application support
