The IT Systems Administrator will be a member of the IT Core Services team focusing on Active Directory, Microsoft365 Applications, and other core services systems. Using their experience with Microsoft-based technologies, they will support our on-prem and cloud infrastructure and respond to end-user requests. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, uptime, troubleshooting and support of our IT systems to ensure reliable performance that meets Dexcom’s growing, global demands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and Support Microsoft Active Directory Infrastructure, including DNS, Domain Controllers and Group Policy management.

Maintain and Support Microsoft365 Applications, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Install, Maintain, Upgrade and Support Windows Servers, Operating Systems, Networking and Applications that are part of our Microsoft Infrastructure.

Implement, install, and deploy hardware/software enhancements to support Enterprise systems and services.

Ensure the monitoring of system/network services and respond to any issues that may impact system uptime. Participate in On Call rotation for systems support.

Manage system security, configure user access and permissions, and plan for system growth.

Compile and maintain KPIs for system performance and recommend efficiency improvements.

Generate reports and gather evidence as needed for internal audits and investigations.

Ensure compliance with existing policies and procedures pertaining to Sarbanes-Oxley, FDA and HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
-
Strong Experience with Microsoft Infrastructure, Active Directory, Azure AD and Microsoft365 Applications.

Previous work experience as an IT Systems Administrator is required.

Understanding of Exchange Online Messaging, Mailbox Management and Retention Policies.

Detailed knowledge of Windows server configuration, deployment, and maintenance.

Ability to create PowerShell scripts for Automation tasks is highly desirable.

Experience is formulating, implementing, and adhering to Change Control Processes and Procedures.

Experience with SQL databases, patch management, and TCP/IP principles is preferred.

Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.

Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Good analytical, presentation and communication skills.

Aptitude to demonstrate strong initiative and follow through. Strong project management skills.
Experience and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Minimum 4-years’ experience in IT Systems Administration

Microsoft Certifications in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure are desirable.
