About the Role:

As a System Administrator II specializing in Endpoint Management, you will maintain and secure Remitly's IT endpoint fleet. You will manage system configurations, perform regular maintenance, and ensure endpoint systems are compliant with industry standards. Your role involves troubleshooting, optimizing endpoint systems, and providing support to Remitly employees.

You Will:

  • You will report to the IT Manager, IT Infrastructure.
  • Independently manage and improve system configurations, implementing updates, and enforcing security measures to protect against vulnerabilities
  • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of endpoint systems
  • Provide design, deployment, and support for endpoint management solutions
  • Performing configuration changes, conducting log analysis, system hardening, and managing/maintaining endpoint security compliance
  • Maintain endpoint management systems to conform to established hardware, software, and security standards
  • Providing recommendations, consulting, and support to end-users and other IT staff
  • Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a systems administrator or in similar positions.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools like Intune/Jamf to audit and resolve endpoint security, software deployment, and configuration issues across major operating systems.
  • Knowledge of endpoint hardening best practices like CIS Benchmark and NIST.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting to refine operations using tools like PowerShell or Python.
  • Used a root cause analysis methodology to improve recurrent problems.
  • Experience managing projects using project management best practices and tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with web application integrations using REST APIs.
  • Skills in systems administration, hardware, troubleshooting, information technology, and documentation.
