Position Overview: Meats by Linz is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team in the meat purveyor industry. This role owns day-to-day end-user IT support, device lifecycle, and Microsoft 365 administration across our multi-site manufacturing environment, serving as the first point of contact for Tier 1/2 issues. - Deploy, configure, and support end-user devices: laptops, desktops, printers, RF scanners, tablets, and related hardware
- Own Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for end-user devices, OS, applications, connectivity, and network-related issues; proactively identify and take initiative on recurring issues rather than waiting for escalation
- Perform user onboarding/offboarding: M365 account setup, Active Directory/domain access, device provisioning, Group Policy
- Administer Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, licensing, MFA
- Support ERP-adjacent IT needs: network label printer connectivity, SMTP/email configuration, shared drive access, device compatibility, and user access
- Assist with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization tasks in coordination with internal IT standards
- Serve as the internal escalation point to the MSP for Tier 3 hardware, server, and network issues, and company-wide infrastructure projects
- Understand and apply modern IT best practices (MFA, access controls, patching hygiene, endpoint hardening) not a dedicated security function, but a baseline expectation
- Coordinate and schedule with third-party vendors for physical security systems (door access, cameras, surveillance) no hands-on configuration required
