We are looking for a candidate for a position "IT System Engineer" in the European Operations Center (EUOPC) in Ostrava. In this position, you will install and manage the IT part of control systems and work on interesting projects. Job description:
installation and configuration software - ABB control systems
installation and configuration of visualization software for control systems (HMI)
installation and configuration of Windows servers/clients in a domain environment
domain settings with cyber security in mind
configuration of network elements in project networks
application of cyber security policy (GPO)
virtualization in the VMware, HyperV environment
testing new versions of ABB software
control systems and ABB HW integration
occasional work trips abroad
Your background:
you have a secondary/university education in electrical engineering or IT
you are interested in PC hardware and the network environment in general
you have active knowledge of English - written and spoken (level B1 and above)
you are proactive, communicative, persistent in learning new things and able to work independently
you have basic knowledge of computer networks - configuration of network elements
it is an advantage if you are familiar with the Windows environment (server administration, AD, DNS, GPO)
experience with automation or electrical is an advantage
the job is also suitable for graduates
