Job Description:
DTN is looking for an IT System Administrator Support to join our team out of our Sydney, Australia office. In this role, you'll provide technical support and assistance to end-users. On-call duties will be required for this role.
What you will be responsible for:

Provide technical support and prompt assistance via phone, email, chat, support ticket, deskside, and/or remotely related to end-user computer systems, hardware, network connectivity, and software

Perform troubleshooting via diagnostic tools and techniques, as well as relevant questioning
-
Responsible for AV maintenance and troubleshooting for conference rooms.

Perform VDI maintenance, support, and creation of VMs using VMWare tools
-
Daily Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID administration and support
-
Document actions taken, end-user communications, and resolution notes within Jira Service Management ticketing system
-
Create and share team knowledge base articles as appropriate
-
Assist our other IT teams as needed. These teams include Networking, Infrastructure, and Security

Collaborate with IT individuals and/or engage 3rd party technical experts/vendors to resolve complex issues
What you will bring to the role:

Microsoft 365 experience required
-
Customer service-oriented experience
-
General Windows and Linux Knowledge including troubleshooting, Windows AD, and DNS management.

Familiarity with IT based monitoring tools

Familiarity with Cloud based and on Prem based Infrastructure including VMware
-
Basic Networking troubleshooting skills
-
AV experience
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-starter

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between AUD 64,000 and AUD 80,000 annually. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
