Our client in the garment manufacturing industry is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Personnel to provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, networks, and business systems across the organization. The successful candidate will ensure smooth IT operations, timely issue resolution, proper system maintenance, and continuous support to users in both office and production environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot system, network, and connectivity problems on time.
- Support users with ERP systems, email accounts, and other business applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and antivirus management.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related support and maintenance.
- Maintain IT asset registers and ensure proper documentation of equipment and system records.
- Assist in setting up IT equipment for new employees and workstations.
- Ensure proper functioning of internet, CCTV, biometric, and communication systems.
- Provide support during system upgrades, installations, and IT projects.
- Train staff on basic IT usage, cybersecurity awareness, and system best practices.
- Prepare IT support reports and perform related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Experience supporting ERP systems and business applications is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and basic networking.
- Knowledge of CCTV, biometric systems, and printer maintenance is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and technical support skills.
- Good communication and user support abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical issues and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Skills Required
