Job Description
Do you have experience and a background in IT Support? Are you wanting to be part of a team that is committed to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency? As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be a key player in providing onsite IT support to users and ensuring all IT Systems are operating smoothly.
Essential Functions:
- Advise and guide IT users in the use of IT products (hardware and software) according to the agreed service process
- Support users in the selection/procurement of end devices and software, while using technical and commercial criteria in mind
- Analyze and communicate problems and requirements together with the customer. Also, recommend the appropriate solution based on the urgency, scope, importance and position of the customer
- Take over the installation and configuration of IT products and resolve problems with hardware and software. In case of complex problems, independently contact the next support level and involve further experts as appropriate
- Collaborate with IT team to implement new technologies and solutions (hardware and software)
This position is based in our Burnsville, MN office and offers a hybrid schedule (at least 3 days a week in office).
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or related roles, preferably in an international company, with exposure to diverse IT environments.
- General systems-oriented mindset, with the ability to understand and manage a wide range of IT systems and infrastructure, rather than being focused on a specific area like network specialization.
- Strong user-centric approach, focusing on delivering seamless IT support for end users, including management of laptops, mobile devices, user applications (excluding ERP), and local network configurations.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with external partners to ensure timely and efficient 1st level support for users across regions.
- Provide dedicated support for key individuals within the organization, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness.
- Very high customer/service orientation skills
- Resilient and calm in disruptive situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
