Description
Eagle Hill is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our internal Information Technology team. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee technology needs, providing hands-on support and helping ensure our devices, applications, and collaboration tools operate effectively. This is an on-site position; applicants must be willing and able to work from our office in Arlington, VA Monday through Friday. Preferred on-site hours are between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Working closely with the IT Manager, the IT Support Specialist will troubleshoot day-to-day technology issues and support Microsoft 365, endpoint technologies, and other internal IT systems. We’re looking for someone who is customer-focused, resourceful, and eager to learn. This role offers opportunities to build skills in endpoint management, cloud technologies, automation, and systems administration.
Key Responsibilities
Internal IT Operations
- Provide responsive, customer-focused IT support to Eagle Hill employees
- Set-up, configure, and deploy PCs and other end-user technology. Including all onboarding and offboarding tasks
- Troubleshoot all office hardware, software, and network issues
- Support Microsoft 365 accounts, MFA, and access controls
- Support office IT infrastructure (Wi-Fi, printers, meeting room tech, office cameras, etc.)
- Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle tracking
- Handle support requests via ticketing systems, email, chat, and in-person
- Follow and improve IT documentation and operational procedures
- Additional Facilities responsibilities as needed.
Microsoft 365, Power Platform and AI Tools
- Support Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Provide basic SharePoint and Power Platform support.
- Support and troubleshoot Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Support employee use of Microsoft Copilot and other approved AI tools.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
- Document workflows, applications, and IT processes
- Contribute to process improvement and digital transformation initiatives
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support / helpdesk / internal IT operations
- Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Experience with MS Azure/Entra
- Experience with MS InTune
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
- Basic understanding of AI tools, chatbots, or automation platforms
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive employee experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Desired:
- Relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365/Endpoint Administrator, Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, Network+, Security+, or ITIL 4 Foundation
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Azure, Entra ID, or similar endpoint and identity management tools
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting and automation tools
- Experience with SharePoint, Power Apps, or Power Automate
- Exposure to Azure, AI tools, or other emerging workplace technologies
- Experience with IT asset management, employee onboarding/offboarding, or ticketing systems
Compensation: A reasonable expectation for a starting annual salary range is: $65,000 – $80,000. This range is reflective of the Washington, DC metropolitan area. When extending offers we consider level of experience and location.
