IT Support Specialist provides technical support through the IT Help Desk, resolving tickets and calls while maintaining credit union information systems in accordance with established policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do:Help Desk & Technical Support
- Manage Help Desk operations: answer calls, create tickets, resolve issues, and ensure timely closure
- Provide technical support and training to end users on hardware and software
Systems & Infrastructure
- Perform daily host system operations
- Set up and configure phones, email, and computers for users
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, and IT hardware
- Manage backup rotation and restore files as needed
- Test and install software updates, patches, and security fixes
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate Help Desk and IT documentation
- Extract data and prepare management reports
- Order equipment, software, and supplies upon supervisor approval
- Research system enhancements as assigned
General
- Communicate system status and issues to supervisor
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget
- Perform other duties as assigned
RequirementsWhat You’ll Bring:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer hardware/software with an understanding of state and federal laws related to IT compliance. Maintain software inventory and monitors licenses to ensure vendor agreement compliance.

This hybrid position offers an hourly rate of $30–38, commensurate with experience and education.

Skills Required
