Role & Responsibilities

VideoAmp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and guidance to our organization's users and ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. The IT Support Engineer will play a key role in resolving complex technical issues, implementing IT solutions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our IT systems and processes. 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for user support requests related to computer systems, software, networks, printers, mobile devices, etc.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues through problem analysis, testing, reinstallation and configuration
  • Manage on-site and remote support using help desk tools to track issues and document solutions
  • Provide support for audio visual equipment and conference rooms.
  • Manage onboarding\offboarding processes
  • Provide training and guidance to users on applications, procedures and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT systems, processes and customer service
  • Maintain current knowledge of technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of administration and support of MacOS/Windows environments - analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with application and networking issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong ability to diagnose problems and a self-starter.
  • Bash and Python scripting are a plus.
  • Must be based in the LA area and travel into the office a minimum of 2 days per week. 

What We Offer

This position has a minimum salary of $80,000 - $100,000.00 + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
