What success looks like in this role:
• Serves as Field Engineer for large, complex clients and across the range of company products and services.
• Performs server and storage break and fix.
• Performs VIP deskside support activities.
• Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve client problems and conduct high-level installation activities for storage and network devices.
• Leverages advanced understanding of hardware, software and operating systems, along with advanced troubleshooting capabilities to address and resolve significant issues escalated from team members and/or clients.
• Tests and certifies mainframes, servers and other infrastructure associated with networks and peripherals.

Provide ongoing reporting of the levels of service delivery, including against Service Level metrics, and Key Performance Indicators specified in the contract.
Depending on Change activity, participate in appropriate Change meetings.
Provide on-site or remote field service engineering and support to diagnose or identify, and then address Faults on in scope physical Hardware components and Software in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Fix Faults via Device swap. This includes a facilitation with OEM for a 'fix'.

Provide onsite support and troubleshooting to investigate and resolve issues with Commercial Off The Shelf (“COTS”) and non-core Software for desktop and laptops.
Open Service Requests to initiate IMACDs.
Unisys supports this from the Service Desk if a user requests a Service Request to be opened to initiate IMACDs.
Perform equipment installations, moves, adds, Changes, and de-installs (“IMACDs”).
Perform co-ordination functions for the management and allocation of IMACDs.
Remove items from inventory and prepare for disposal or return to lessor when they are no longer of use.
Wipe the hard drives of any laptop or desktop being retired or returned to lessor.
Provide disposal Services For clarity, standard Unisys deskside Device disposal services are provided for Devices
Identify equipment at or near end-of-life based upon its impact on spare parts inventories and service repairs and identify repair or replace support.
Provide and keep current toolsets to aid spares and parts management.
Provide Smart Hands Support for network Devices, servers, and printers
Provide basic troubleshooting and configuration assistance for common audio/visual (“AV”) equipment located and permanently installed in Regeneron facility conference rooms.
The scope of this SOW includes four related, but separate categories, all comprising a robust, comprehensive Audio Visual (“AV”) / Video Teleconferencing (“VTC”) Virtual Teleconference (“VTC”) Managed Service

Support hours : 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
You will be successful in this role if you have:
High School Diploma or GED required
May require technical certification or Associate Degree
Generally, 4-6 years’ experience in area of responsibility
