Job Description
As an IT Support Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted access to technology resources and delivering high-quality technical support to employees. You will work closely with engineering, IT, and business teams to troubleshoot issues, improve IT processes, and implement reliable, user-friendly technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to employees and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including the setup and decommissioning of devices, applications, and user accounts.
Manage and maintain IT assets and inventory across locations.
Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and manage technology requirements.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and end-user technology issues.
Monitor IT services proactively to identify potential issues and minimize service disruptions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
Support IT governance, security, compliance, and end-user technology standards.
Assist with software updates, security patches, and vulnerability remediation.
Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, service delivery, and employee experience.
Conduct user training and provide guidance on new technologies, applications, and secure IT practices.
Support technology procurement and vendor management, including evaluating requirements and optimizing costs.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to develop solutions aligned with business and technology requirements.
Participate in IT projects, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, implementation, and tracking of deliverables.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and availability of IT services.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in IT Support, Service Desk, Desktop Support, IT Operations, or End-User Computing.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and user applications.
Experience with IT asset management, user provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and vendor coordination.
Knowledge of IT security, patching, compliance, and governance practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
A customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
Experience working in an MNC or global IT environment would be an advantage.
