STEMCELL Technologies is looking for an IT Support Analyst to support our Cambridge facility. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn about and support STEMCELL’s business specific tools (such as lab and analytical equipment), and join project teams to support company-wide technology improvements.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting end-user IT equipment and cloud-based apps and tools. This is a varied role, including support of cloud applications and services like Google Workspaces, common end-user IT equipment (Windows, MacOS), and a chance to gain hands-on experience with cloud-based tools & platforms like AWS, Intune/Kandji & Cisco Meraki.
While you will act as the dedicated local anchor for all things IT at our Cambridge site, you are part of a much bigger picture. You will lead the day-to-day onsite support for our local team and high-tech labs, working closely with a supportive, global IS network across Europe, North America, and APAC, to ensure you always have teammate backing.
To be successful in this role you will need to possess a good understanding of common software and IT equipment, strong independent troubleshooting and task-management skills, and have a passion for delivering consistent customer service.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary, go-to IT partner for all STEMCELL employees onsite in Cambridge.

  • Work alongside external vendors and our scientific teams to support and maintain lab and analytical equipment.

  • Partner with the global IS department to evaluate user requests, rollout company-wide technology improvements, and implement modern cloud and automation solutions.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • You have up to 3 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in a Tier 2 support capacity.

  • You have hands-on experience managing Windows, MacOS, and iOS devices using modern MDM tools like Intune and/or Kandji, alongside standard A/V and print services.

  • You thrive on autonomy, possess strong critical-thinking skills, and have a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.

  • A degree/diploma in tech, or a strong mix of industry certifications and real-world experience.

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

£24,700.00 - £37,100.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits, retirement savings, and more (depending on region).
