- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including file, print, application, and database servers.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimum performance.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core infrastructure services.
- Apply operating system patches, updates, and configuration changes.
- Manage and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., Azure, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Ensure system security through access controls, firewalls, and antivirus/antimalware tools.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to implement and support new technologies.
- Monitor and respond to system alerts and outages, including participation in on-call rotation.
What you likely bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in server administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/ understanding Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Azure, VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and system security best practices.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
