The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and improving business processes within the Supply Chain and Customer Care departments. This role involves identifying inefficiencies, proposing IT solutions, and ensuring seamless integration and support for these departments. They will also work closely with the Commercial IT BA to ensure strategic alignment on capabilities, and identifying improvements.
Key Functions:
- Business Process Analysis: Assess current business processes in Supply Chain and Customer Care to identify areas for improvement
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for IT solutions
- Solution Design: Design and propose IT solutions that meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- System Implementation: Manage the implementation of new systems and technologies, ensuring they integrate smoothly with existing processes
- Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of IT systems
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to generate insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning

Skills and Competencies:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, knowledge of ERP systems, and familiarity with supply chain and customer care processes
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze complex data sets and generate insights
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
- Customer Focus: Strong focus on delivering value to internal customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in supply chain and customer care environments
- Experience with ERP systems and other relevant technologies
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
- Proficiency in Japanese and English is required
