Job Description:
IT Strategic Enterprise Architect
Yes to shaping the future of enterprise architecture.
Yes to bringing clarity to complexity.
Yes to building a simpler, smarter and more connected digital ecosystem.
We are looking for an IT Strategic Enterprise Architect to help define the architecture foundations that enable digital and IT to deliver greater value across a global organisation.
Reporting to the Head of CDIO Office or Chief Architect, you will work at the intersection of strategy, architecture, investment and transformation. You will bring structure to a complex technology landscape, helping turn business ambition into a clear, coherent and actionable enterprise direction.
About the role
This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence how our application and capability landscape evolves over time.
You will own and develop the enterprise application and capability blueprint, creating a clear view of where we are today, where we need to be, and how we get there.
You will help leaders make informed decisions on where to build, buy, modernise, simplify or retire technology, ensuring every decision supports long-term value, integration and business impact.
What you will do
- You will bring together domain and solution architecture plans into one coherent enterprise view.
- You will identify duplication, fragmentation and capability gaps across the application landscape, turning complexity into clear, fact-based recommendations.
- You will shape multi-year transformation roadmaps that balance ambition, business value, risk, dependencies and delivery capacity.
- You will coach and align a federated community of architects, creating shared principles, stronger collaboration and more consistent enterprise thinking.
- Most importantly, you will champion experience-led architecture, helping create a more seamless, intuitive and connected employee experience across the value chain.
What you bring
- You bring strong Enterprise Architecture experience within a complex, federated IT environment.
- You understand application landscapes, integration patterns, digital platforms and capability-based planning.
- You can translate strategy into practical, visual and executable roadmaps that senior leaders can understand and act on.
- You are a confident facilitator and trusted advisor, able to influence architecture teams, IT leaders and business stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
- You bring strategic thinking, structure, pragmatism and a clear focus on outcomes.
Why join us
- Yes to a role with global impact and senior leadership visibility.
- Yes to shaping the architecture foundations for a simpler, more connected and future-ready digital landscape.
- Yes to working at the intersection of strategy, technology, investment and employee experience.
- Yes to helping build an IT ecosystem that enables better decisions, stronger delivery and greater value for the business.
What success looks like
- A clear and adopted enterprise architecture blueprint.
- Stronger alignment between digital strategy, investment decisions and delivery.
- Reduced duplication, fragmentation and complexity across the application landscape.
- Greater architectural consistency across IT teams.
- A smoother, more integrated employee experience across tools, processes and functions.
Skills Required

- Understanding of application landscapes and integration patterns
- Ability to translate strategy into executable roadmaps
- Confidence in facilitation and advisory roles
- Strategic thinking and focus on outcomes
