  • Building Technology solutions that provide business portfolios from Creative, Planning, Manufacturing, Order Fulfillment, Finance and more.
  • Developing cloud-first platforms that provide capabilities and services.
  • Building, securing, and operating a blend of internally developed and 3rd party software for Hallmark core processes.
  • Scaling development capabilities to build for Hallmark's future As a member of Hallmark Tech, you will partner with high functioning, high energy teams of cross-functional disciplines to deliver critical capabilities to Hallmark business areas.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

IT Senior Technical Analyst develops and delivers process and technology solutions with high value realization, including:

  • Clear problem and requirement identification ties to business case/value definition.
  • Design, construct, test and implement technical services while adhering to established standards and architecture while ensuring TCO is integrated into the delivered service.
  • Participate in an effective transition to Shared Services processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with managed services vendors to ensure SLAs are met per contract agreement. Ensure vendor partners deliver technology solutions that aligned with T&BE's strategic goals and strategies.
  • Coordinate efforts with other business and T&BE areas in service development to realize value and ensure adherence to methodology, architecture, and business process standards.
  • Plans tasks and estimates the required research and volume of activities to complete work for their own or that of a small team; estimate the resources; plans the work schedule.
  • Researches issues, develops recommendations and actively participates on project teams to develop solutions to business problems related to a broad range of business and product issues. Understands and interprets key strategic issues to develop recommendations.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is developed in support of value realization.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is developed and clear to a technical and non-technical audience.

Work with management to help develop and drive the strategic direction for major business processes, technical capabilities, and risk compliance integrating subsidiary organizations where appropriate:

  • Develop and implement technical and architectural solutions to provide the appropriate solutions to deliver quality solutions within the Hallmark enterprise.
  • Conduct audits across the enterprise on a routine basis to ensure compliance to established policies and procedures by analysts and vendors.
  • Analyze and implement the projects needed to upgrade or add tools required to maintain or improve business systems capabilities.
  • Maintain industry expertise in technical software and hardware tools to ensure appropriate strategies are relevant to Hallmark's business needs.

Build and maintain partnerships with business process partners:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of business priorities, strategies, and plans.
  • Develops deep understanding and expertise in 1 more business process areas.
  • Maintain familiarity with Lean principles and technologies that can be leveraged to enhance business processes.
  • Build relationships with business process partners.
  • Envisions, develops, and executes TBE strategies to accommodate the changing needs of business clients and project needs as an individual contributor. Monitors customer feedback and identifies trends. Tracks effectiveness and progress over time. Determines new solutions to issues that arise to range of issues.

Maintain an effective level of operational support for business process and technical issues:

  • Ensure that technical issues are resolved in a timely manner in accordance with established Service Level Agreements.
  • Lead efforts to restore normal operations as quickly as possible with the least possible impact on either the business or the user, at a cost-effective price.
  • Implement changes to technical environment as necessary to correct operating errors and improve system performance.
  • Lead efforts to leverage technology to reduce customer manual effort for a one-time solution.
  • Capture (codify) knowledge; update process/system documentation; cross train between team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or directly related field, or foreign equivalent.
  • 3 years' experience in Technology or application related field
  • Working knowledge of one or more technologies, hardware, or software disciplines.
  • This role has deep technical skills in one or more of the following with working knowledge of the remainder: Java, MicroStrategy, Oracle, SQL, C#, ABAP, .Net, Teradata, SharePoint developer, Hyperion, COBOL, MQ Services, CICS, DA/Erwin, ETI, DB2, Visual Basic, Gentran, Ilog/cplex, desktop applications
  • Mainframe and midrange operating systems
  • Security software and hardware
  • Network (data, voice, device)
  • Desktops (PC/MAC)
  • Help desk operations and systems
  • Database software and management tools

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
  • The salary range for this job is between $75,483 to $141,000 per year. This amount meets or exceeds the prevailing wage as determined by the U. S. Department of Labor.
  • The position is fully remote, and the employee may live anywhere in the United States.
