About This Role:

The IT Specialist provides technical support to Crexi employees and our growing IT infrastructure. The role plays a part in ensuring system availability, performance, and security across our enterprise tools and network. 

What You'll Do:

  • Provides technical assistance to internal teams regarding hardware, system functionalities, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. 
  • Identifies and classifies incidents and works to resolve or escalate them according to established protocols. 
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365/Azure and manage user provisioning and governance.Documents incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference. 
  • Collaborates with the IT team members to design and implement improvements to the technology infrastructure. 
  • Monitors the company's technology systems, servers, hardware, and network infrastructure to identify and help resolve issues promptly. 
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks, updates, and patches to ensure the stability and security of the systems and hardware. 
  • Supports setting up accounts, hardware, and access for new employees and revoking access for departing staff. 
  • Assists withbasic network connectivity issues including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN problems. 
  • Contributes to enforcing cybersecurity policies like multi-factor authentication. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Who You Are:

  • Proactively manages daily tasks and contributes to success metrics under the guidance of team leads. 
  • Proven experience with Slack, Zoom, Salesforce, Office 365/SharePoint, Atlassian, DocuSign, NetSuite, and Meraki devices. 
  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to provide clear and concise directions and instructions.  
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (i.e. PowerShell and Bash) 
  • Strong and efficient teamwork and cross-department collaboration.  
  • Able to digest complex problems and review related information to evaluate options and suggest efficient solutions. 
  • A passion for infrastructure and improving the efficiency of software development teams.  
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. 
  • Customer-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support. 

Preferred Experience:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field (such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering). 
  • At least 4 years of previous experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.  
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and infrastructure components. 
  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Mac) and basic scripting languages. 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience with MDM solutions and SSO/SAML configurations.

The anticipated base salary range for candidates who will work in our Playa Vista, California location is $29.33/hr - $49.03/hr. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience applicable to the role and within the industry, education, geographic location, etc. Commercial Real Estate Exchange, Inc (“Crexi”) is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
