Red Bull South Africa is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch IT support, managing end-user devices, and coordinating local IT projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure seamless IT operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services.
Job Description
IT Support & Collaboration
- Organize and provide day-to-day IT support, maximizing remote service desk use and output, and pushing for fast resolutions as well as meeting/event support if requested.
- Ensure professional end-user IT onboarding by leveraging and contributing to global standards.
- Leverage Incident, Request, Problem, Outage, and Change Management processes for local IT services.
- Ensure professional and regular IT service communication towards end-users.
- Organize and provide IT security trainings as well as end-user IT service trainings.
- Administer local end-user account access and permissions in relevant tools and required management and monitoring platforms (e.g., for Workplace or IAM services).
- Support local infrastructure components in cooperation with second-level support partners.
- Collaborate on identifying and improving limitations or simplifying current services, processes, and tools for effective and quick alignment with relevant IT peers (local, remote Service Desk, IT Area).
End-user Devices and IT Infrastructure
- Ensure an up-to-date and accurate IT asset inventory within RB standards/tools.
- Coordinate end-user device rollouts as well as device replacement cycles for client computing hardware, including peripherals (e.g., screens, headsets) and mobile devices.
- Manages local network infrastructure, including events, in accordance with global standards.
- Manage local office infrastructure across the life cycle (e.g., printers, meeting room equipment including room booking system, video conferencing devices, office access control, CCTV, and local phones).
- Coordinate the RMA process for client computing and/or backend-hardware components.
Local IT Project Coordination and Administration
- Ensures the execution of local project tasks and the deployment of global IT services to achieve the highest level of end-user satisfaction.
- Support local IT and/or business projects.
- Align local business needs and demands proactively with the IT Manager, aiming to promote and push for global/regional instead of local IT solutions.
- Support the IT Manager in terms of IT budget planning.
- Take over assignments, leveraging global and area-specific project management methods.
- Coordinate with local IT external vendors and partners (e.g., network cabling, mobile phones, A/V setup,...).
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of IT management processes and tools (ITIL v3 experience, ServiceNow or equivalent tool experience appreciated)
- Solid know how in Microsoft Windows and Office, Mac, Mobile Devices, Networking and Security Services
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, and hands-on.
- Spoken and written English mandatory
