As such, we're always seeking new contributors whose work demonstrates an avid curiosity, a bias towards simplicity, an eye for composability, a self-service mindset, and - most of all - a deep empathy towards colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We believe a diverse team builds more robust systems and achieves higher impact.
Beacon's robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience, but we also have in-person office hubs available located in Boston, New York, and Paris.
What success looks like:
- Manage systems and software configurations and upgrades while adhering to company security and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate execution of IT procedures for employee onboarding, role changes, and departures.
- Troubleshoot complex device, network, system, and application issues, proactively resolving disruptions to ensure optimal productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to identify technical needs and implement improvements for a streamlined and efficient IT environment.
- Document and implement IT standards, policies, and procedures to maintain best practices and promote knowledge-sharing across teams.
What you will bring:
- Experience managing IT infrastructure and service in a hybrid work environment, with proficiency in supporting users across both on-site and remote settings.
- Proficiency in managing systems and identities within cloud platforms (e.g. AWS).
- Familiarity with security protocols, including user access controls, end point security, and compliance standards.
- Experience working with ticketing systems, managing escalations, and supporting technical projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a diverse audience.
- Approximate experience: Bachelor's degree + 5-8 years of IT support experience, or other comparable professional experience.
The base salary range for this role is determined based on past experience, specific skills and qualifications. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes equity, PTO and other benefits.

What We Do
Brain monitoring is not easily accessible, interpretable or actionable. We're going to fix this, and we'd like you to help. With improved access to brain data and the right tools to act on it, clinicians could intervene in real-time, match life-altering therapies to the patients they benefit most, and treat previously untreatable neurological and psychiatric diseases. Beacon is building an interdisciplinary and uniquely talented team to implement this future.
Why Work With Us
We value curiosity and innovation. We approach problems like research - problems are an opportunity to learn something new and improve upon an outcome.
