IT Solutions Owner, Corporate Application

We are hiring for an IT Solutions Owner for Corporate Applications to join our growing team!

The IT Solutions Owner leads the end-to-end delivery and ongoing improvement of enterprise applications supporting National Vision’s corporate functions, including Operations, Finance, People Team, and Legal.

This role serves as the primary connection between business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring technology solutions meet business needs and deliver measurable results. You will lead initiatives from discovery and planning through implementation, adoption, and ongoing support, using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.

Projects may include SaaS implementations, enterprise application upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and process improvements. This is a cross-functional leadership role that drives results through collaboration and influence rather than direct authority.

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

• Own enterprise application initiatives from requirements gathering and planning through implementation, launch, and ongoing improvement.

• Partner with business leaders to define objectives, scope, requirements, priorities, and success measures.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, architecture, security, QA, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Develop and manage project plans, roadmaps, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Coordinate software vendors, systems integrators, and managed services providers to ensure successful delivery.

• Lead business process analysis and fit-gap assessments to identify appropriate application solutions.

• Coordinate application configuration, integrations, data conversion, testing, training, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, internal control, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) requirements.

• Manage application enhancements, upgrades, releases, defects, and technical debt in partnership with business and platform owners.

• Provide clear project updates, escalate risks, and communicate recommendations to business and IT leadership.

• Drive user adoption, operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement.

• Identify opportunities to responsibly use AI-enabled tools to improve delivery efficiency and productivity.

• Strong business and functional analysis skills, including process mapping, requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and decision facilitation. (Required)

• Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, hybrid delivery, and product-team models. (Required)

• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, change control, vendor coordination, and executive reporting. (Required)

• Understanding of SDLC controls, architecture, SaaS/ERP integrations, data conversion, security, compliance, testing, and production support. (Required)

• Strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence. (Required)

• Functional knowledge of at least one corporate area, such as Finance, Procurement, HR, Workforce Management, Merchandising, or Legal. (Required)

• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM/SCM, UKG, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or comparable platforms, and proficiency with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or Microsoft 365. (Required)

Education

• Four year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, HR Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience (Required)

Work Experience

• 4-6 years  Enterprise application delivery, product/project/program management, business analysis, implementation consulting, or related technology roles. (Required)
• Delivery of SaaS, packaged, configured, integrated, or custom enterprise application solutions (Required)
• Waterfall, Agile, hybrid, and vendor implementation methodologies (Required)
• Coordination of software vendors, systems integrators, managed services, and internal technical teams (Required)

• End-to-end technology delivery leadership, including application implementations, integrations, testing, releases, and operational transition. (Required)

Licenses, Certifications, Professional Affiliations

• Agile or delivery certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, PMP, or equivalen (Preferred)
• Platform or domain training in ERP/EPM, HCM/WFM, procurement, finance systems, merchandising, ServiceNow, or comparable applications.(Preferred)
• Training in internal controls, change management, vendor management, and software contract fundamentals.
