We are looking for a talented IT Solution Engineer to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for Cummins Lindesberg, Oerebro, Sweden.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Partner closely with the Plant Operations Power Cell team to support Lindesberg-specific business and technical requirements, collaborating with local stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and global technology teams.
- Lead and support the implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of IT solutions aligned with business and operational needs.
- Provide ongoing application support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system enhancements to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution designs, coordinating development, installation, and system integration activities.
- Participate actively in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate activities with global IT teams while aligning delivery priorities with plant operational demands and communicating local constraints effectively.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and application-related issues, escalating complex incidents when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with IT security, privacy, and data governance standards while supporting solution lifecycle management and continuous process improvement.
- Improve existing solutions using AI technology and identify improvements in existing systems and documentation.
- Help execute test cases and support test planning activities.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Fluent Swedish is required for this position.
- Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance principles, with the ability to apply best practices across the solution development and support lifecycle.
- Experience with modern development methodologies and technologies, including Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code practices.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions, including solution design, system integration, and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset, customer-focused approach, and passion for continuous learning and emerging technologies.
Education/ Experience:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
- Minimal relevant work experience required.
- Experience with international companies and understanding complexity driven by the global structure.
- IA knowledge to increase productivity.
