You will be responsible to:- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, printers, peripherals, network connectivity, remote access, and other site technology.
- Manage Help Desk tickets from intake through resolution, including prioritization, documentation, user updates, troubleshooting, and escalation to the appropriate technical teams.
- Image, configure, deploy, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot PCs and related hardware; support conference rooms, shared computers, and other site equipment.
- Support end-user accounts and access, including password resets, provisioning, access requests, and Active Directory user and computer administration.
- Monitor and troubleshoot site IT infrastructure, including Windows systems, networks, Wi-Fi, and connectivity; coordinate complex issues with Global IT Infrastructure.
- Support approved infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, hardware lifecycle activities, and deployment of new or replacement technology.
- Maintain accurate IT asset and infrastructure inventories, including ownership, location, status, and lifecycle information.
- Support local backup and recovery operations, including monitoring, media handling, Veeam activities, issue escalation, and disaster recovery testing.
- Support cybersecurity controls, secure system access, endpoint protection, monitoring, and timely escalation of security concerns.
- Participate and support assigned GMP, GAMP, Data Integrity, and IT infrastructure qualification activities.
- Fillout and maintain SOPs, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and technical documentation while identifying practical improvements to IT support and site operations.
- Perform assigned activities safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Hovione IT governance, GMP, HSE, and applicable policies and controlled procedures.
- Degree, technical qualification, or equivalent education and experience in Information Technology or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on Level 1/Level 2, desktop, or site IT support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and working knowledge of Windows, PC hardware, imaging and deployment, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Basic to intermediate networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Experience with Help Desk ticketing, printers and peripherals, IT asset management, backup monitoring, and basic recovery; Veeam experience is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or regulated environment, with knowledge of GMP, GAMP, and Data Integrity principles, is preferred.
- Experience with EasyVista, Jira, or a comparable IT service management platform is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, documentation, customer service, prioritization, and independent working skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
In compliance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act, Hovione discloses a base pay range for this U.S. based position. Actual pay is influenced by location, skills, experience, and qualifications. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime, and all roles may include a short-term incentive bonus. Employment is at-will, and compensation may change based on performance or market conditions. Benefits include 401(k), paid time off, leaves, and health coverage (medical, dental, vision), subject to plan terms. Full benefit details are shared upon offer.
IT Site Support Specialist Compensation Range: $92,040- $147,264
