The Site Lead, with support and direction from Regional Lead, is responsible for the planning, delivery and support of the strategic imperatives/capabilities at the site and is entirely accountable for all things technology at the facility. Primary responsibilities include support of the business functions at site in accordance with global IT direction. Provides technology leadership with the support of Regional Leads and SMEs to support the implementation of information technology initiatives in support of the business objectives and drives efficient and effective technology service and support in alignment with Viatris's mission.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Represents IT at the Site Business table and the Site Business at the IT table.
Communicates Enterprise IT programs to business partners with the assistance of Regional Leads or others as required.
Supports the capability portfolio and IT investments of the business function. Responsible for IT budget and human resources assigned to deliver new capabilities. Ensure that all Site relevant information related to the project portfolio is maintained in the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) platform.
Ensure value realization of capabilities and operates in compliance with the policies and guidelines set forth by IT’s Center of Excellence organization, to include the Capability Lifecycle, funding approval processes, and resource management procedures.
Liaise with the Business on new technology opportunities to enhance their function.
Engage with business stakeholders and IT resources in the development of programs to meet the business area’s goals.
Collaborate with IT Solution Delivery and COEs to solution and plan capabilities.
Partners with Franchise/Geography Leads to deploy capabilities.
Communicate with other Site Leads to identify cross-functional impacts and opportunities.
Responsible for Relationship management between IT and the Site Leadership team.
Accountable for the compliant state of GMP systems for electronic systems with support of IT Compliance.
Perform other duties assigned.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in Business Process required. Four years of experience in Business Relationship Management preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Experience implementing automation solutions in support of research and process development process desired, to include Manufacturing Execution Systems, ERP, Quality Systems, Serialization and Plant Automation.
Superior communication skills required and ability to negotiate with diverse levels of the organization highly desired.
This role will be based onsite at our St. Albans, Vermont site.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $152,000.
