PURPOSE / SCOPE
The IT Services Onsite Supervisor (ITSOS) is designated as the contact for oversight of all IT infrastructure associated with this contract in accordance with USG, Navy, Company and PWS requirements and regulations.
Will also be responsible for information system security requirements and risk assessments, vulnerability scan, security test and evaluations, monitoring event logs, and maintaining network security and other duties as assigned.
The ITSOS will be onsite during regular working hours and shall be available onsite within one hour after the Government’s regular working hours. Will also be available for on-call support as needed 24 hours/day, 7 days/week in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a formal curriculum in computer technology / operations or electronic theory, principles and applications; or successful completion of Navy Class "C" School in electronics courses or equivalent is desired. Documentation must include course content.
- Must have experience managing an operation similar in scope and complexity.
- Seven years specialized experience, which have been classified as manager or supervisor. Additionally, six years specialized experience in operating and/or maintaining SHF satellite earth terminal equipment, within the last five years, three years specialized experience in the operation of a Technical Control Facility and/or two years specialized experience associated with the management of facilities of a similar nature, documentation shall include a description of prior facilities supported.
- Strong computer and software skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products
- Previous experience in a similar role, highly preferable at a US military or US government installation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US passport and driver's license throughout employment in this role
- Ability to successfully pass PACOM medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance
