Primary Purpose of Position:
Perform support and project responsibilities in the Information Technology (IT) Services team in the Information Systems (IS) Department.
Essential Functions
End User Support
- Perform support of desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other hardware.
- Support the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office and other software.
- Support the migration of desktops and laptops to Windows 10.
- Review vulnerability scans and implement recommended changes.
- Audit and provision software on desktops and laptops.
- Support the use of operating systems and software applications including, but not limited to, Windows, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office and Adobe applications. Maintain and enforce software policies and standards.
Information Security Program
- Perform support of security solutions as assigned.
Project Work
- Work on assigned projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess a service orientation and attitude in working with others.
- Be detail-oriented and methodical in solving problems and managing multiple projects.
- Possess an aptitude toward learning technical concepts. Be results-oriented and a quick learner in supporting new products and technologies.
- Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft solution and products.
Physical Requirements
- Involves work of a technical nature usually performed sitting such as operation of a computer.
- Involves work of a technical nature usually performed standing in delivering and supporting hardware.
- Involves movement between departments to facilitate work.
- Involves lifting to installing and relocate computers and monitors. Must be able to lift 30lbs.
Internal and External Contacts
- This position regularly interacts in both verbal and written form with employees, vendors, and contractors of BXP.
Reporting Structure
- This position reports to the Manager, IT Services who provides supervision, guidance and evaluates work performance on a periodic basis.
Salary Range:
$18.00 per hour. BXP offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary and annual discretionary bonus. The range represents expected base salary; compensation will be determined based on role, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
