IT Senior Manager, Wholesale Systems

About the Position:
This position will report to the VP of IT Solutions Delivery and Support. The overall mission for this role is to provide application solution delivery and support services for the IT platforms supporting our Wholesale business. This includes our BlueCherry order management system, our RepSpark on-line shopping and selling platform for Golf and licensing accounts, and our EDI communications with our wholesale customers. This position is also responsible for managing and supporting systems integrations with key upstream and downstream application platforms, including our PLM Data Hub (connected to our Centric PLM system), our omni channel order management system (Manhattan Active Omni), our merchandise management system (Blue Yonder MMS), our warehouse management system (Manhattan Warehouse Management Open System or WMOS), our financial system (Oracle NetSuite) and our enterprise data lake platform (Databricks).
This position interacts with senior business leaders on our Operations and Wholesale teams, our wholesale customers, our technology vendor partners and the vineyard vines technology team. We would prefer this role be based at our HQ location in Stamford, Connecticut. However, we are open to considering candidates who work remotely as long as they are willing to work normal EST hours of business and do occasional travel to HQ (a couple of times per year, as needs and opportunities dicttate).
Solution delivery project work and leadership involving BlueCherry and our EDI platforms will range from 25-50% of the responsibilities, depending upon business circumstances. On-going operational support responsibilities will range from 50-75% of the responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
BlueCherry:
- Troubleshoot EDI errors in the transaction Maintenance
- Troubleshoot MMS PO and PO receipt errors in the transaction Maintenance
- Resubmit ASNs and Invoices when requested or if there are any known failures
- Support Wholesale and Wholesale Ops with BC related issues
- Maintain EDI Customer set ups
- Maintain Scheduled Jobs
- Create reports in Report Builder
- Maintain Ship Vias
- Add/Disable users
- Add menu access for users
- Troubleshoot any missing 940 or 945s
- Run WMS and BC shipped order comparison
- Help Wholesale Ops with Manual EDI or Returns Loads
- Resubmit 832s to GXS when necessary
- Review any ASN chargebacks from Finance
- Support Integrations to with NuOrder, MMS and Warehouse Management
- Lead MRP and VMI Initiatives
EDI operations:
- Troubleshoot any EDI Errors in Envision EDI Translator
- Troubleshoot any FTP Errors in Lexicom FTP
- Maintain EDI Trading Partner set ups
- Monitor EDI transmission failures
- Resubmit failed EDI Transactions
- Maintain Inovisworks (Inovis/Opentext) EDI mailbox and catalog
Commerce Hub/Rithum operations for department stores:
- Troubleshoot any EDI import/export errors
- Support Wholesale Ops with any portal or interface issues
RepSpark:
- Support Users with troubleshooting ordering issues
- Support backend APIs to Blue Cherry
What you Bring:
- B.A. or B.S. degree
- More than 7 years of professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT application solution delivery & support
- 2+ years of hands on experience with Blue Cherry
- Strong understanding of EDI transactions and workflows (850, 856, 810, 940/945, etc.)
- Experience with integration tools (FTP, APIs, middleware platforms)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in the apparel industry, with a particular preference for wholesale experience
- Familiarity with EDI platforms such as OpenText, Inovis, or similar
- SQL and advanced Excel skills
