As a IT Senior Data Analyst you will lead and improve analytical programs and present the results to the business unit/category/region leaders. You will analyze the variable granular data of the business and regularly use advanced models to deliver business insights across diverse business domains. You will answer and anticipate critical business questions and opportunities and deliver insights to the business. You will demonstrate use of data visualization and analytic tools to grasp business insights from mountains of data. You will also collaborate with multifunctional teams to improve key business priorities based on data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Owns end-to-end large-scale applications, products, services, projects, or foundational technologies.
Shapes frameworks of work and defines the evolution of their area of scope, ensuring operational excellence and scalability.
Influences technology decisions and leads teams, engaging in detailed, hands-on work as required.
Demonstrates breadth of applied IT skills across at least two IT job profiles.
Requires at least two relevant roles and experience managing or influencing people or organizations to achieve significant IT outcomes.
Job Qualifications
Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and enterprise data platforms
Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business leaders
Bachelors or Master’s degree in quantitative field (Operation Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Statistics, Physics, Analytics, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
Experience using analytics techniques (AI/Machine Learning, Econometrics, Operations Research, Statistics, Root Cause Diagnostics) to tackle defined business problems
Data management, data modelling, and visualization skills/tools in one or more of the following: Databricks, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI or similar.
Product or project management experience: Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, manage stakeholders, prioritize work, and drive product adoption
At least two relevant IT roles with experience managing or influencing people or organizations to achieve significant IT outcomes
Preferred:
Certifications: Friends of Data Science Level 1, Friends of Data Science Level 2, Friends of BI Builder - Power BI, UX BASIC
Experience with Corporate Data Lakes
Agile experience: Working knowledge of scrum methodologies and experience in cross-functional team environments
Experience across domains and influencing senior leaders on key organizational, business, and technology decisions
Product management training or certification
