IT Senior Business Analyst - Salesforce

Job Summary
In this role, you will lead complex requirements gathering, process design, and functional strategy across GAF's Salesforce and Analytics platforms. You'll optimize our Lead-to-Cash process, leverage Salesforce Data Cloud, streamline collaboration with Slack workflows, and shape how Tableau delivers real-time, actionable insights to our operations.

Essential Duties

• Business Analysis & Requirements (70%)
  • Lead discovery workshops, interviews, and process design sessions across cross-functional business units.
  • Author sophisticated user stories, functional spec documents, process swim-lane diagrams, and UX wireframes for audiences ranging from offshore developers to C-Level executives.
  • Define solution architectures across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
  • Modernize enterprise reporting by establishing requirements for Tableau (including metric-driven analytics via Tableau Pulse) and integrated Slack conversational workflows.
  • Evaluate custom vs. declarative configurations in Salesforce Flow Builder to protect system scalability.
  
• Testing & Quality Assurance (20%)
  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore development and QA teams to validate technical deliverables against business logic.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), script creation, execution, and stakeholder sign-offs.
  
• Mentorship & Administrative Support (10%)
  • Provide functional direction and review guidance to junior Business Analysts.
  • Support IT governance, release management strategies across seasonal Salesforce updates, and operational support.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration (IT emphasis), or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of dedicated Business Analysis experience, with at least 3+ years actively driving projects in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  

Qualifications Preferred

• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant, Sales/Experience Cloud Consultant, Tableau Certified Data Analyst, or CBAP/PMI-PBA.
• Domain & Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrated track record with Lead-to-Cash implementations in enterprise manufacturing, durable goods, or supply chain environments.
  • Functional familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Slack App integration, and Tableau / Data Cloud-powered analytics.
  • Strong working knowledge of security models (OWDs, Sharing Rules, Permission Sets), Lightning Web Components (LWC), REST/SOAP APIs, and CI/CD tools (e.g., AutoRABIT, Copado, DevOps Center).
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies using Jira or Azure DevOps, as well as visual modeling via Lucidchart or Miro.
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst OR Salesforce Certified Administrator.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $112,000-$154,000
