Overview of The Role

Part of the Global IT team, the primary responsibilty of the IT EDI Senior Analyst, Enterprise Applications will be to manage SAP and legacy ERP enhancements, change requests, incidents, project planning, and implementations as applicable to EDI in a cross-functional setting.

This person should have strong relationship building skills as well as a clear understanding of the SAP Sales and Distribution module and its EDI integrations.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:

  • Work independently with guidance from senior functional leadership team
  • Collaborate with key business users, global IT functional teams, regional IT teams, PMO, EDI trading partners and vendors
  • Participate in cross-functional EDI, SAP and legacy ERP system enhancement projects and support at a global and regional level
  • Provide EDI ERP interface, middleware and technical support to regional IT teams
  • Contribute to business requirement, functional specification, and EDI mapping documents

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of working experience in SAP with cross-functional exposure (ECC, SD, LE)
  • Knowledge and experience in cross-functional areas: Sales, warehousing, logistics, and accounts receivable
  • Ability to operate in complex, fast-paced project environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business divisions, geographies, time zones, & languages
  • Ability and flexibility to quickly learn new business processes, applications and has the vision for long term objectives
  • Solid organization, time management, and project estimating skills
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP Idocs, AIF and ALE
    Understanding of EDI standards and communication protocols: X12, EDIFACT, XML, AS2, SFTP
  • Knowledge of common EDI transactions sets: 810, 812, 820, 824, 830, 846, 850, 855, 864, 867, 875, 880, 882, 940, 945, 943, 944, 947, ORDERS, INVOIC and DESADV
  • Experience with EDI middleware applications (Opentext Trustedlink and Bizmanager or other)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint etc).
  • Bilingual English and French
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

As part of his duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.

Salary Range: $83,890 - $110,110

*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
