We are looking for an IT Segment Leader.
Your responsibilities:
- As part of the Global Procurement team, you contribute to defining and implementing the procurement strategy for the IT category, working closely with the Group IT organization.
- You communicate this strategy to local procurement teams and ensure its consistent deployment across all regions.
- You lead global sourcing initiatives and manage end-to-end tender processes, ensuring that the requirements of all countries and internal stakeholders are fully captured and addressed. You oversee procurement governance throughout the sourcing lifecycle, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and implementation.
- You ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and the approved supplier panel, working closely with internal stakeholders and in accordance with Valeo's standards and governance framework.
- You prepare and manage the annual budget for your area of responsibility.
- You monitor procurement performance and supplier delivery through a comprehensive set of KPIs, driving continuous improvement and maximizing the value generated by the procurement strategy.
- You continuously assess market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies within your categories to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support business objectives.
About you:
- Master's degree in Procurement.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Buyer in an international environment or within the IT/Telecommunications sector.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a customer-oriented and results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English is required. French is a plus.
