IT Scrum Master

The IT Scrum Master will lead the product development effort by conveying the vision to a Scrum Delivery Team or multiple teams, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value, and complexity.  The position will liaise with stake holders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and with the team or teams to ensure the release(s) is/are accomplished within the annual cadence.  The position serves as the Scrum Delivery Teams’ primary contact for information, work prioritization and decision making.

What You Will Do at Graco

• Facilitate and lead the Agile Team or scrum of scrum teams to ensure they are aligned with Agile methodologies and principles

• Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities within the Agile framework and that they are accountable for their commitments

• Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is properly maintained and prioritized

• Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint retrospective meetings

• Ensure the Agile performance metrics are developed, tracked and communicated to stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuous improvement

• Identify and remove obstacles that impede team progress, and work on mitigation plans to keep the team moving forward

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading discussions and making improvements to agile process

• Monitor and report team progress to stakeholders, including potential risks and issues, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to promote cross functional alignment and shared best practices.

• Creation, development and implementation of Agile methodologies and practices

What You Will Bring to Graco

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field

• Advanced education in Agile

• 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, leading Agile teams in advanced industrial product and software development projects

• Experience training teams on Agile methodologies and mentoring teams to develop an empowered team culture

• Strong facilitation skills and experience organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation.  If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience.  In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees.  Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role.  Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
