Job Description
We are looking for an IT SAP RAR Solution Architect to join our growing team! In this role you will support the Manager, Financial Systems in the development, implementation, and administration of the organization's financial systems. You will research requirements and liaise across the company to ensure that systems are modified to meet the most recent Business Requirements, Processes, and reporting standards, as well as the needs of key business leadership and finance colleagues. Functional accountability includes supporting the finance business units from financial systems standpoint. You will establish best practices for financial systems use and ensure these practices are used throughout the organization. Finance systems includes SAP ERP (S/4 HANA), Cloud based reporting systems, Consolidation tools, EDI platforms and Interfaces to banking and other third-party systems.
As an IT SAP RAR Solution Architect, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Configure and perform the Migration and Transition to SAP Revenue Accounting through BRIM
- Support one or more core Finance modules including Enterprise Structure, Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA), FSCM etc.
- Able to analyze business requirements, provide conceptual and detail design to meet business requirements
- Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create the right solutions based on business needs
Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field
- 12+ Years of experience in SAP Finance / RAR
- Strong Business, Accounting, and Finance acumen, strong understanding of IFRS 15 Revenue recognition requirements, SSP Allocation, ASC 606 Revenue Reporting Requirements and how the new SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (SAP RAR) solution has been designed to meet those standards
- Good understanding of Account Assignment and Determinations for Revenue Items
- Most Recent Experience in S/4 HANA Greenfield Implementation as a RAR Consultant
- Minimum of two full life cycle implementation experience with SAP RAR module as a process -covering - integrate sender components, perform, and configure the inbound processing, configure, and use Contract Management, perform price allocations, process contract changes (prospective and retrospective)
- Experience with BRF + application configuration and RAR baseline configurations including Decision table maintenance.
- Experience in Revenue Recognition model setup for Time based and Event based Fulfilment
