Baptist Health is looking for an IT Risk & Business Resiliency Lead to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.
The IT Risk & Business Resiliency Lead is critical to ensuring that IT operations can be maintained in a manner compliant with HIPAA, CMS and other governing bodies applicable to the Baptist Health Organization and will maintain working knowledge of requirements related to these and other governing bodies as they pertain to the IT recovery needs of the organization. Under the guidance of IT Resiliency Manager, will be responsible for coordinating development, execution, evaluation and continual improvement of IT Crisis Management, business and technological continuity and recovery plans, including those that address high consequence clinical and business risks and services. Coordinates preparedness activities and deliverables associated with high consequence, clinical and business risks and services. This role also requires a strong understanding of and ability to orchestrate the Cyber Recovery process to ensure resilient restoration of critical systems following cyber-related disruptions. Additionally, this role includes creating and maintaining operational documentation and dashboards to support visibility, governance, and continuous monitoring of resiliency and recovery efforts.
Under the direction of IT Resiliency Manager, develops, maintains, and implements crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures. This role will interact with various IT and Clinical application teams, Clinical Operations, Business Continuity teams and related committees or continuity teams which include Clinical Operations, Risk, Facilities, Emergency Management, HR, Internal Subject Matter Experts, Care Teams, etc. for these activities.
Looking for candidates with strong hands-on, real-world experience in IT Disaster Recovery, beyond theoretical or audit-focused exposure.
Requirements
BA/BS in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly in coordinating Incident Management and Disaster Recovery program activities according to Business Continuity guidelines.
Experience in working for healthcare is a plus
Industry Certification (DRII/CBCP/TheBCI/etc.) is preferred
