Responsibility Level:
The role is responsible of the accurate and stable operation of the QAD Manufacturing platform for all Clarios Mexico plants. It delivers IT support services and a broad range of responsibilities associated with to RUN Operations: Platform support, incident resolution, and implementation of customer service requests.
Duties:
Application Support “RUN”
- Unique role in Clarios IT MX that provide reliable and timely 24x7 x 365 application support services for Production, Shipping, and Invoicing for all Mexico plants and Distributions Centers.
- Lead root cause analysis of failures and ensure implementation of permanent corrective actions as a result of technical problems in the platform.
- Perform day to day revisions of all the QAD tickets to provide solution in case these are under the ownership.
- Act as lead to perform troubleshooting in case of Priority 1 or 2 issues (critical).
- Provide customer satisfaction by meeting quality standards.
- Resolve tickets before reach the breach time meeting the Service Level Agreement.
- Responsible of provide resolution of issues the business can report during the financial end-month activities.
- Provide training to stakeholders or supervisors about the functionality of the system.
- Track and report out on system support metrics and key outages.
- Maintain, manage, and update technical system documentation.
- Assist in preparing end-user documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Accountable for Database Administrators activities as configure printers and unblock users.
- Provide guidance to other QAD team members and help in the resolution of tickets.
- Responsible to provide evidence for the IT SOX Audit (internal and external), self-testing and remediation efforts for in-scope applications.
Application Development “BUILD”
- Collaborate along with the build team in design, development, testing and implementation activities of projects or planned application enhancements in case of fixes’ implementation or any other specific need.
- Provide direction / knowledge during software programming, development, and documentation to the build team.
- Accountable for leading the technical design, development, testing and implementation of requirements in the platform.
- Accountable for collaborate to adapt new hardware or software to the platform.
Problem Solve and Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot to restore application use in the event of a failure or system down.
- Find the root cause of an application malfunction.
Identify Potential Issues
- Foresight to anticipate and address potential issues before they become issues.
Work with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work in partnership with the build team collaborating on the implementation of solutions in case is required.
- Work with the technical support team, database administrators, and platform architect on a daily basis to contribute to solve issues.
- Provide knowledge transfer and reports to business facings in case they require it to perform their responsibilities.
- Collaborate with project implementation teams providing QAD knowledge to meet the project goals.
- Provide subject matter expertise on projects with regards to business processes or technical matters.
