Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Project Senior Manager for its Jersey City, NJ location.
Duties: Use in-depth knowledge of stock record processing and the Global Position Data Warehouse (GPDW) system, to coordinate across multiple work streams. Collaborate with Operations, Development, Production support and Quality Analyst teams for successful completion of changes related to position data warehouse and stock record bookings. Review any changes related to Stock Record Processing and consult with business partners for signoff. Gain high level knowledge in Brokerage Processing System Advantage (BPSA), which is the Broadridge domestic settlement platform. Carry out gap analysis and establish future state Target Operating Model for migration of legacy mainframe system into strategic single stock record. Prepare project scope documents, technology test plan, traceability matrix and other supporting documents for completion of the projects. Define milestones, issues, and project risks in Project Tracking System (PTS). Coordinate with the project team and transform into agile delivery mode, advanced certification in Scrum methodology, and Agile software design. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation migrating mainframe applications into the latest technologies within the financial or IT industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Working with Broadridge’s domestic fixed income settlement platform, IMPACT, and DTC settlement platform, BPS-A, to migrate booking models in a project; Analyzing accounts and security reference datasets to migrate legacy mainframe applications; Working with mainframe related tools, applications, and utilities including Job Control Language (JCL), COBOL, CICS, and DB2 to prepare decomposition documents used to implement in the latest technologies; Using Scrum and Agile project delivery methodology to coach and transform projects into agile deliver models; and Working with account and security reference data concepts used in capital markets to migrate legacy mainframe applications into the latest technologies. 40 hrs./wk.
