Job Description

  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of IT and process-related projects including scoping, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation;
  • Develop the organization with the help of various methods (e.g. classic, agile, hybrid) and concepts in interaction with cross-location and cross-functional teams;
  • Define together with the team the future processes for old system landscape SAP R3 and the new landscape SAP S4 and including non-SAP applications;
  • Define and coordinate the development and roll-out of IT projects in this area;
  • Communicate project status and progress to all stakeholders, including senior management, project team members, and end-users;
  • Ensure proper data by structuring and organizing qualified data migration and cleaning projects;
  • Monitoring and controlling project performance, including identifying and resolving issues, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities, including optimizing existing processes, implementing new processes, and leveraging emerging technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures, company’s regulations, and legal requirements;
  • Deep dive into the GS process landscape and responsible to implement technical changes related to the purchasing tools.

  • Testing & validation of developments.

Qualifications

  • Language: Advanced English (written and spoken);
  • License/Diploma in Business, Economics, IT or related field;
  • Extended Purchasing Experience: You've been around the block and know the ins and outs; Purchasing like the back of your hand;
  • Supplier Management Expertise: You've got a solid track record in supplier management you understand what supplier onboarding means and what is needed to maintain strong and productive partnerships;
  • Process Improvement Champion: You’re not just a doer—you’re a thinker. You’ve got experience in identifying and implementing process changes that lead to greater efficiency and better outcomes;
  • Tech-Savvy with Purchasing Tools: Do any of the following purchasing applications sound familiar: Jaggaer, Ivalua, Ariba, or SAP ERP? Perfect! Your expertise with these tools will help you hit the ground running and make an immediate impact;
  • Independent Multi-tasker: You’re not just good at working independently—you excel at it; Managing parallel projects doesn’t faze you because you're a master of time management and prioritization;
  • Persuasive Communicator: You know how to influence others and get things done;
