Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced technical Project Manager to deliver global IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. They will have a proven track record in delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
This role reports to the Global Project Portfolio Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee global IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with governance and enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead and coordinate technical projects, including budget management, third-party vendor oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate with governance, network, and security teams to ensure all projects meet compliance and framework requirements.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, resource allocations, and budgets to support successful delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; establish contingency plans to minimize impacts on timelines and costs.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and ensure deliverables meet business objectives.
- Manage and coordinate activities of external vendors and internal teams to achieve project deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 5–7 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in project management within IT infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated technical IT experience with a strong record of delivering IT infrastructure projects.
- Advanced project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in managing project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Minimal travel required (less than 5%).
Preferred Skills:
- M&A experience
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection regulations.
