This role would suit a person with a desire to coordinate and assist with the installation of Broadcast Media Soluions internationally in a professional and timely fashion. You will join the Project team to deliver the system to an agreed specification through the project lifecycle. Responsibilities:

  • Leading the project through the project lifecycle from design to closure.
  • Identifying the tasks required to deliver the project to the agreed specification.
  • Reporting progress and issues to internal and external stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Gathering data and reporting back to the development department for resolution.
  • Documenting the system to ensure future supportability.


Requirements:

  • IT with network infrastructure.
  • Applications integration with the business system.
  • Good reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, typically up to 10% per year.
  • Planning and scheduling of resources.
  • Awareness of commercial processes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Additional skills and experience that will be usefull:

  • Broadcast systems experience.
  • Degree in IT, Computer science, Electronics and Broadcast Technology or similar degrees.
  • Professional Project Management qualifications.


Recruitment process is simple:

  1. Screening with a recruiter (~45min)
  2. Technical interview with Hiring Manager and Senior Project Manager (~60 min)


About the position / about the project:


The Projects team delivers a highly scalable, infrastructure-agnostic platform for Media Asset Management, Transmission Playout and Non-Linear delivery applications.
Mediator-X is an enterprise-class platform that can run on private or public cloud infrastructure as well as dedicated hardware.
This role will see the successful applicant working with a team to deliver enterprise-level solutions to the world’s leading Broadcast and Media institutions.
There will be a variety of things to learn as part of a successful deployment of a large-scale system. You will be using skills ranging from Python, JavaScript, XML, shell, Ubuntu platforms, SQL, to Playout and IP hardware, and being involved from the start of a workflow of ingesting content to seeing it successfully get scheduled for playout on air.
You will work in an agile environment with our international teams and your work will be seen by millions.
