Primary Responsibilities
- Provide project management services for IT projects
- Coordinate and perform essential functions within the IT Project Management Office
- Operate in accordance with IS standards, conventions, and applicable BU/RU IT standards
- Collaborate with global IT teams to share information and best practices
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of assigned IT projects, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective planning and execution
- Strengthen PMO governance by applying and refining intake processes, checkpoints, and reporting
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in PMO processes and implement improvements to enhance accountability and execution
- Define and implement improvements to project management methodologies that increase governance while minimizing administrative burden
- Partner with business units and IT leadership to prioritize work aligned with strategic goals and capacity
- Provide visibility into resource constraints to improve planning and delivery predictability
- Maintain PMO standards, support IT roadmaps, and facilitate executive-level reporting
- Deliver project management methodology training to new project managers
- Manage IT communications, ensuring timely and clear messaging across technology initiatives and service changes
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO)
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and align cross-functional teams
- Strong ability to manage project scope, schedule, and cost
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Experience leading cybersecurity and IT infrastructure projects
- Experience managing IT projects in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Planview PPM or similar tools
