We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead finance transformation initiatives, ensuring successful delivery across multiple projects and workstreams. This role requires strong project leadership, vendor coordination, and an understanding of finance systems to drive impactful operational change.
- Lead finance transformation projects end-to-end, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and budget control.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects/workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Oversee external vendors and implementation partners to ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, progress, and status reporting to keep initiatives on track.
- Allocate and manage project resources, identifying capacity or skills gaps as needed.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through regular assessments and action plans.
- Execute project communication plans and keep stakeholders informed in coordination with change management.
- Ensure solution quality and compliance, coordinating testing cycles, data validation, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage formal project close-outs, securing stakeholder sign-off and documenting lessons learned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline).
- Previous experience in similar roles.
- Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly valued.
- Strong foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles is an advantage, given the nature of finance system projects.
- Experience with D365 F&O, treasury management systems, or bank connectivity/SWIFT.
- Ability to apply the appropriate approach—or a hybrid model—based on project complexity.
- Knowledge of project governance frameworks, including status reporting, change control, and risk governance.
- Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage priorities across multiple workstreams.
