Your role

The IT Project Manager drives the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with business, product, and technical requirements. The role exists to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and ensure timely and high-quality implementation of IT initiatives. This position ensures that requirements are effectively translated into actionable IT demands, solutions are tested and launched efficiently, and stakeholder expectations are met. Ultimately, the role enables the organization to deliver reliable, scalable, and customer-aligned IT systems.

Drive End-to-End IT Solution Delivery

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor cross-functional IT development and configuration activities.
  • Ensure timely integration of business, product, and technical requirements into project scope.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact project timelines or quality.
     

Align IT Architecture with Business and Product Requirements

  • Analyze proposed solutions against system architecture and business needs.
  • Coordinate initial effort estimation and resource planning with relevant stakeholders.
  • Validate that proposed IT components adhere to technical standards and integration principles.

Refine Requirements into Actionable IT Demands

  • Facilitate requirement workshops with stakeholders to clarify functional and non-functional needs.
  • Document and prioritize requirements in alignment with project objectives.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through development and testing phases.
     

Monitor and Report IT Project Progress

  • Maintain project schedules, dashboards, and status reports for internal and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify bottlenecks and escalate unresolved issues according to governance procedures.
  • Track adherence to budget, timelines, and quality standards.

Coordinate End-to-End Testing and Launch Activities

  • Coordinate internal IT testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and pilot/production validation testing.
  • Track and resolve test issues in collaboration with development teams.
  • Ensure release readiness and smooth transition to production or hypercare support.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required. Project management or agile certification is an advantage.
  • 3-5 years of IT Project Management (managing software development projects and implementation projects for standard software) and knowledge of project management methods
  • Solution-level understanding of multi-system IT landscapes and integrations
  • Ability to translate business requirements into IT processes and structured IT demands
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder communication skills
  • Capability to assess effort, risks, and dependencies at solution level
  • End-to-end ownership mindset with a structured, solution-oriented working style
  • Regular international travelling of up to 10-15% of working time required
  • Fluent in English; German/Chinese language skills are an advantage
