IT Project Manager (Master Data) m/f/d

We offer a flexible hybrid work model – 3 days in the office (your choice) and the remaining days working remotely.

Are you ready to lead projects that deliver real impact? In this role, you’ll manage complex IT initiatives that improve operations and create measurable business value. From SAP BTP projects to Master Data and analytics initiatives, you’ll play a key role in driving PPG’s digital transformation.

What you will do

• Your first project will be the implementation of the MDR (Master Data Request) application in China, part of the Connect PPG program supporting SAP S/4HANA rollout at PPG.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of small, medium, and large IT projects, ensuring success from planning to execution.
• Define clear project goals and success criteria aligned with business and/or Master Data strategies.
• Apply structured frameworks for scheduling, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation.
• Present project updates and insights to senior stakeholders at an executive level.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors, actively coordinating work planning for the design, build, and test phases of the projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in SAP, Data, or MDM environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or Microsoft Project.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
• ERP implementation experience is a plus.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally (1–3 times per year).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality.

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience building entry systems for material and customer Master Data.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and MDM Informatica.
• For candidates based in Malaysia: proficiency in Chinese is considered an additional advantage.
